Xbox Hard Crashing/Shutting Off While Playing BF6

YES. was having the same issue during beta and now I'm still having the same crashing issue on my series x

Was having the same issue during the beta. Was really hoping to have this issue fixed by now, and now I'm starting to wonder if I wasted my $70 PLEASE EA help us I see I'm not the only one having this issue. And I've done all the troubleshooting. 

Unfortunately, there's differences in hardware quality during manufacturing which creates a silicon lottery.

Did you buy your series very early when they dropped. Mine does the same thing with all ea titles trying to get to the bottom of it

Guys who have issues on Xbox Series X — listen up.

I had the same shutdown problem back in the beta. I deleted the beta on the second early-access day after just two or three matches because my console turned off about five times.

Then, at release, I launched the full game, enabled fixed 60 FPS — and boom, same thing, console shut down during the very first match.

Here’s what finally helped me:

I went to the Xbox settings and deleted all HD texture packs — HD Multiplayer and HD Campaign. They take about 30 GB total on Series X. Then I kept fixed 60 FPS mode on.

After that, I’ve played 8 hours total over two days — not a single crash, no shutdowns at all. If you’ve been struggling with the same issue, try this method — it might actually fix it for you too.

Interesting. If anyone else can verify that this works that would be a decent temporary solution. I ended up getting a refund via Xbox and have bought the game on steam. Not one crash in roughly 4 hrs of playtime.  

Is anyone else having a problem on Xbox where the game loads fine, menus, firing range etc..

I also had the same problem on the beta and was hoping it would be fixed, I’m on Xbox one S and never have problems with other games, I’ve tried everything, factory reset, uninstall, remove account etc

Same here.   It even happens playing the campaign mode. 

Thank you bro, this actually helps. So far no crashes after deleting all HD packs and setting my Xbox on 1080 60hz

EDIT: Still crashes, just less…

I am not sure what is happening but came here now in hopes for some answers but I have seen a few others having this same issue but nothing had seemed to work so far. I had tried doing Open Cases on EA Help but I also do not see my cases after I submit them.

I have tried the Battlefield Beta to begin with but it also crashed constantly within a few minutes which made me stop playing in hopes that there would be a fix to it and was excited for Battlefield 6 at that time. However when I bought the game it's still doing the same thing. Every time I had loaded into a match its a lottery of how long I would be playing until the game either crashed or would totally turn my Xbox off. I then had went through of the process of looking at what I can do to try fix this and looking at if others are experiencing this same issue. I had a few say it is fine but others saying they are dealing with this problem too. I had uninstalled and reinstalled the game a few times, uninstalled HD Packs, reset MAC Address, recently cleaned the Xbox, cleared any data, hard reset the console and much more from troubleshoot pages or other sources yet still no results of it improving and still crashing to where it goes to the home screen or turning off my console outright. The last thing I would want to do is buy a whole new console and would be too worried on if I buy a new console it might still be problem. 

I am hoping to hear for any solutions/updates/fixes about this issue or anything more I could do to try resolve this and hoping any update patch would fix the issues too.
