Xbox series X crashes either a few minutes in the lobby screen or at some point in a game same exact thing happened in battlefield 2042 not a single fix was done. Ive tried multiple fixes nothing works and its only battlefield that does it. Its basically unplayable. The screen freezes sounds cuts out and then its either straight back to the dashboard or it shuts it off completely.

I was able to play finally by moving my install location to my main hard drive, reset global settings in NVidia, and uninstalled and installed DLC content.

Same here — I have a 02/2022 Xbox Series X (factory settings, latest Xbox and Battlefield 6 updates) and I’m experiencing crashes anytime: in the menu while browsing maps, after 5–10 minutes of multiplayer gameplay, and even in singleplayer. I’ve never had this problem with any other demanding games like Battlefield 2042, Forza Horizon 4/5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, the NHL series, or Mafia: Definitive Edition.

I am experiencing frequent crashes while playing Battlefield 6 on my Xbox Series X (purchased February 2022). The game often crashes (after playing from 5 to 10 minutes) to the Xbox desktop or occasionally causes the console to shut down with a black screen. This occurs in both multiplayer matches and single player campaign, as well as during map selection in custom search.
I have tried both Performance and Fidelity graphics modes.
Other demanding games on my console (Battlefield 2042, Forza Horizon 4/5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, NHL series, Mafia: Definitive Edition) run for hundreds of hours without crashing, so I don't think it's an issue with my console.
I have already reset my console to factory settings and confirmed the latest updates from Xbox and Battlefield are installed. Please advise if there are any known issues or workarounds, or if there is a fix planned. I really want to play this game as a BF 20+ years veteran.

I have the same issue — in my very first match, in quality mode (60 FPS), after about 10 minutes of gameplay, the screen froze for a few seconds and then my Xbox Series X shut down.

So just to confirm you have actually bought the game and have tried playing it yesterday and today but are still experiencing the crashing?
If so means no point in buying it then until they address and fix the issue. Strange they haven’t touched on it as many others were raising the problem throughout the beta too.
