EA has a LOT of reason to take the cheating problem into account seriously, given trying to break redsex into the ESPORT arena. If you know, you know... kernel level anti cheat is just a scary word to make you feel safe. The nerds that tinker with it, will always find a way around it... the more I read up on the subject, a math based anti cheat backed by an a.i. is pretty much gold standard for future proof anticheat. An anti cheat dev clued me into his battle with cheaters, it sounded like a lot, but he/she mentioned CSGO testing a "Math based anti cheat" that wiped out over 2000 cheating accounts in CSGO in like a day or a week or something crazy. Anyways, I will always continue to play, even when I know sometimes, the triggerbot and shooting through rocks/impenetrable surfaces makes it pretty obvious. I have reported 3 cheaters since launch, the first two came back, no cheating found. Today I reported a dude I just happened to spectate after getting killed in Redsex, but HOLY COW... captain super duper obvious wall dork tracking through walls, absolutely insane obvious.
there haven't been major sponsorships in e-sports ever. its the anonymity that is the problem. can't have a real fanbase when fans can't take it seriously. you need to verify peoples identities and make them pay for the privilege of maintaining them lol. I mean when we had community leagues with cs back in the early 2000s, and with games like tiger woods online by ea sports. you were in essence vouched for. in other words you were in clubs with other players who knew you so that in a sense is a verification. but because ddos attacks got too strong, people stopped hosting servers. So say you ban these players too good for your server. The woke nerd mob feels that is evil and immoral. They have a false sense of entitlement that they can just undermine someones competitive match, cause they dson't truly understands what the words competitive means. To them competitive is evil, so they are being doubly evil, to destroy competitive matches and the idea of it for various reasons. the five deadly sins basically.
