Zero visibility

I’ve spent days adjusting settings and this is the only battlefield game where I can’t see a **bleep** thing. You can literally lay down anywhere in the map and nobody will see you. You are completely blended in with anything and everything. I’ve seen soooooooo many people complaining about this and wonder if anyone has heard about a fix. I’ve tested this myself. I just lay down in the most random places, often in the open and people often just run right by me. It’s so annoying, kinda game breaking.

I don't think going back to everyone running half of the graphic setting on lowest is the answer, that should never be acceptable from a dev.

Everyone is in the same boat, just gotta adapt.

The lighting on console is very poorly done, there is absolutely no happy medium, just two extremes of **bleep**. I really regret buying this game, but more so hyping it up to my friends who want to quit so badly.

Never had this issue. Not sure what you're really meaning. Either you have the situational awareness to notice campers or you do not. Check your monitor settings i suppose.

When I have brightness up it’s blinding. When I have brightness down the players blend in with everything. I’ve tried it all. I have a really good gaming monitor and have even played around with the settings on it. They just need to give the option to get rid of dynamic everything. Shadows, lighting, etc.

And how much is your brightness set? I was blinded to on spots on the map because of sun and when i took an Adrenaline inject i also got blinded..Vignette and brightness on 45 for me fixed it. It's of course personal preference but i noticed when i kept it on 50 or go above it was still blinding, so also lowering brightness does change a lot.

SOVIS has been on by default. I’ve tested it on and off and it barely makes a difference. It should be buffed for sure. Vignette does dim the lights a bit but not nearly enough requires to get rid of the flash bang the game throws in your eyes just from changing locations. It’s so weird they still have this. I wished they’d let you dumb down the graphics more. Vegetation, lighting, shadows, etc. They almost got it right. Aside from this I love the game and probably won’t stop playing anytime soon.

  • Enable SOVIS to increase enemy visibility, enable VIGNETTE to prevent getting blinded.
