Hello,

 

I am experiencing a consistent crash in the Battlefield Beta on PC. The game freezes and closes, showing a DirectX error: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (and sometimes DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED).

 

Key Details:

 

• GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600

• Error Message: DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands").

• Drivers Tested: The crash occurred on AMD Adrenalin driver version 25.8.1 and persists after updating to version 25.9.1.

 

How to Reproduce the Bug:

The crash happens most frequently when playing with the graphics settings on “High” or “Ultra”. When I lower the settings to “Medium” or “Low”, the crash is less frequent or doesn’t happen at all.

 

Important Note:

I have tested other graphically demanding games (like Black Myth: Wukong) for several hours on “High” settings, and my system is perfectly stable. This issue appears to be specific to the Battlefield Beta. My GPU is running at stock settings (no overclock or undervolt applied).
