#1 Most Important Issue: HIT REG and NETCODE.

I've been a BF player for a LONG time.  I built my first gaming PC because of BF.  First off, I'm so so so so incredibly grateful for the dev team and all the work they've done and all the work ahead of them.  Truly, I am.  I think that after some ups and downs over the last decade+ (mostly downs) BF as a franchise seems to be on the right path and being a hardcore fan, this is exciting to see.  It's a beautiful game with amazing potential.  Thank you.

I have one major complaint of which is no stranger to BF veterans: NETCODE. The de-sync and lag are pretty bad, but the HIT REGISTRATION.  My goodness... Maybe it's because I'm on PC (and a beast at that... custom water cooled 9950X3D/5090 Astral/64GB DDR5 6000mhz CAS 26 and FIBER 2.5GIG WAN) but I hear console players complain too.  I heard theories that the issues stem from console + PC crossplay interoperability, but I'm not a dev and certainly not a network engineer.  However, you don't have to be an engineer to understand how simple it actually is:  Shoot -> game checks your aim (hitbox or raycast) intersects the target at the moment of firing -> applies damage based on weapon stats -> network confirmation from the server.  Obviously it's a tad more complicated than that but that's basically it.  It's 2025 and BF Studios should know how to code an online FPS to perfection.  But no, the hit registration and server operations are just atrocious a lot of the time.  I'm not saying it's all bad, but you just never know what you're gonna get...

So what is being done to fix this?  THIS IS THE EXPERIENCE.  You can have all the best gameplay and guns, gadgets, characters, voice actors, vehicles, graphics or cinematics in the world but if netcode is wonky - people will remember only ONE THING.  That is the game sucks because when you shoot someone 30 times, they don't die.  Please, fix the hit reg WITHOUT punishing those with good to god-tier internet.  COD punishes people with good internet under the guise of "lag compensation" and it sucks!... Oh, and while you're at it, figure out a way to get these cheaters off the game!  It makes us true PC fans look bad.  Thank you for your time.  I complain only because I love the game...
