1920x1080 displaying as 1920x1440

Can anyone help me please?

I accidentally selected 2560x1440 now when i select 1920x1080 it displays as 1920x1440.

I have tried everything i can think of to fix this, deleted profsave_profile and let it create a new file, also deleted the cache, neither worked.

Is there something else i can try? i have checked in the nvidia settings and have no clue how to fix this, my work around for now is to set a lower resolution and hope someone gets back to me.

I deleted both and it was still the same, after trying every other resolution i found that for some reason 1920x1080 is displaying as 1920x1440 but  1920x1440 is displaying as 1920x1080 so i guess it's just some weird labeling bug getting 16:9 mixed up with 4:3?

Either way i'm just gonna play on 1870x1080 for now.

Thanks for taking the time to try and help me, i really appreciate it <3

edit: a fresh clean install of nvidia drivers fixe the problem.

You could try editing profsave_profile and manually setting: GstRender.ResolutionHeight 1080

    I expect you'll find it's currently set to 1440.

Well then I think it's time to kill both the profsave_profile and the profsave file. You'll need to redo all of your settings.
