"An undefined error"

Dear EA,

Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. After booting up the game, we get put in a queue to log in of "1200" it then fails and this error comes up. (See attached)

ERROR

An undefined error occurred

ERROR CODE 1:86001S:89001S:9C:-13561655840

Scan QR code to learn more or get additional assistance.

The QR code brings me here, where there is ZERO help to resolve the issue. I've not been able to play the game ever since the REDSEC update.

I have tried:

Reinstalling, deleting cache, logging in on other consoles.

Same. Error.

PLEASE respond and resolve ASAP.

Thanks.

  • I have the exact same issue. Started midday Monday and haven’t been able to play since. Xbox series S, purchased the game through the console Xbox store. Rebooted, reinstalled, hardwired my connection to my modem, tried different WiFi, hardcoded dns settings. Nothing helped. I get into the queue maybe once in 15 connection attempts, otherwise just an infinite loop of 1:86001S:89001S:9C:-13561655840 error code.

  • My son is having the same issue. He was playing fine until the RedSec update. I’ve tried to reinstall the game with no luck, the issue still persists. With that said, I’m able to play on my console/account with no problem. This leads me to believe it’s an age restriction issue, but changing content rating or allowing my son to play the game doesn’t fix the issue. I’d love to see this solved or will need a refund for the game. We purchased two copies the game to play together, but have no been able to do so.
