I'm having this issue as well, but I thought it was my headset. Even if I alt-tab and try to play a youtube video there's still no sound. Unplugging my headset adapter and plugging it back in will fix it without having to restart. It seems to be random for me. I can boot up and sometimes it won't happen at all, other times it'll happen twice in the same match.
