Audio cutting out

Whenever I start the game, I get audio during the intro and for about 10 seconds in the main menu. Then, all audio cuts out and stays silent. If I restart the game, the exact same thing happens.

Game audio is routed to my headset in Windows settings, and all other audio devices are disabled. No audio enhancements are enabled in Windows settings.

System Specs:

  • Cpu: 9800X3D
  • Gpu: 9070 XT
  • Ram: 64 GB DDR5 6000 MT/s
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro
  • Audio device: Astro A50 gen. 5

I haven't played for a couple of months. The last time I played was on my old Intel/Nvidia system, where everything worked perfectly. This is a clean install, as I did a full system format after switching to team red. I have never encountered this problem in any other games that I play, so this is strictly a BF6 issue.

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: I've tried to contact EA, but it's proving impossible to talk to a human being. I'm just getting looped in an endless circle by their chatbot.

  • UPDATE: Solved!

Found the solution. It turns out the ASUS Driver Update tool didn't fetch the correct drivers for my motherboard during the initial setup. After manually installing the latest AMD chipset drivers and Realtek audio drivers directly from the official motherboard support page, everything is working perfectly.
