BAN (SECTION 6)

Hello everyone Today I found that my account has been permanently banned, and upon reviewing the reason, EA indicates that I have broken its rules (Section 6), specifically for any of the following points:

Use software that interferes with or corrupts the EA service or another user's account.

Using undocumented features or cheats that alter another user's game or account.

Use software or cheats that disconnect other players from EA servers.

Honestly, I don't understand which of these points I fit into, because:

1.I haven't used any external software while playing, other than common programs like Discord, Java, or MSI Afterburner.

2.I have not modified any game files or used external cheats or tools. All the adjustments I made were within the game itself (graphics, controls, etc.).

3.On the point of “using software that disconnects other users”, it seems like a mistake to me. Is it possible that another player used some type of hack impersonating me or using a similar name?

It's really frustrating to have paid $70 and played for just about 10 hours before receiving this ban. I feel like EA should have better mechanisms for detecting real cheaters, because the ones who end up paying are the legitimate players.

Has something similar happened to anyone else? Have they managed to resolve it or appeal successfully?

Thanks for reading me.

Hey, saw your post about the ban. If you were using the rooftop exploits in Battlefield 6, like the drone-hammer or parachute tricks on Siege of Cairo, that might be why—EA’s been strict with Section 6 violations. Could be worth checking with support to clear things up. Hope you get it resolved!

thank you for your response،but the only thing I did was play normally and that's it, without abusing anything, without insulting anyone, not even if I want to go on servers to earn XP with bots, games with a normal KDR, it is very rare that have a ban even having been reviewed

Hey, thanks for clarifying! If you were just playing normally without abusing glitches like the rooftop exploits or breaking any TOS rules (like Section 6), then it might just be a mix-up. I’d suggest opening a ticket with EA Support at help.ea.com and explaining your situation clearly. As long as you haven’t violated any rules, getting unbanned should be straightforward. Good luck, hope it gets sorted soon and maybe you get some extra XP for beeing falsie banned.

  • Hello, I have the same problem. I have been banned for the same reason. At no time have I done anything that altered the gameplay of the game or anything strange. My surprise is that I bought the game when it went on sale on October 10th, after playing for 7 days they banned my account for the reason "gameplay improvement." After complaining and waiting another 6 days for them to answer, they continue to tell me the same thing without giving any explanation: permanent ban. After the failure on EA's part, I decided to buy the game again with a different account. I wanted to enjoy the game and here comes the big surprise; two days after playing, today, October 27th, they banned my other account again for the same reason! The problem must be that they detect something on my PC that they think alters the gameplay, but it is totally a glitch. I repeat, there is no software that alters the gameplay. I need help. The joke has already cost me €140 and I still can't use the game. I've filed another complaint, but nothing has happened. This has to be fixed somehow. I'm waiting for a response from someone who can help me. I'm willing to help with whatever is necessary. Thank you.

I was thinking about buying it again, but now that you've told me, this is clear that I won't buy it, I'm still waiting for an unsuccessful response, we have to understand what EA detects so that they don't give us a lifetime ban, what performance programs do you use?

I don't use any performance programs, but I do have several small programs to control the PC's lighting, fans, case, heatsink... perhaps some of this is what EA identifies as suspicious, but I don't know. I'm still complaining; all that remains is to see if they're able to fix it. I'll let you know if anything new comes up.

Good news, the first account has been reactivated after my second complaint. Now I just need the second account, or rather, a refund for the second account since I paid for two due to EA's mistake.
