In my case I bought the game on Playstation I played both moultiplayer and REDSEC on Playstation first but wanted try it on my PC.
I played first on PS with no issues, then downloaded the game through the EA app and after loading I get the error mentioned. The issue happened the very first time I opened the game using the EA app. I dont remember the exact date I openend the game on the EA app, it was during the first week REDSEC released
Tried downloading on steam afterwards but for some reason the game crashes before showing the menu, it does login normally without the error but it then crashes. The steam crash might not be related directly but it seems I cant play on any other platform than PS
