I Bought the full game on EA app (ROG Xbox Ally X) a couple hours ago and getting this error. I have owned on the Xbox X since it came out. . I am guessing this is scenario 1.

- Which platform(s) do you own the base game on = ( Xbox )
- Which platform did you register REDSEC on = ( Xbox )
- Which platform shows the “Account Restricted” message = ( EA App )
- Whether the other platform still works normally = ( Xbox, base and RedSec & Steam, RedSec ( dont own the base on pc ) Work great )
- Roughly when you first saw the issue = ( Release of Redsec. Never tried it until then as I wanted to see how it ran on pc before I purchase there also )

-Registered on Xbox i believe and linked account through EA
-Shows accoutn restrcited on Xbox
-Still works perfectly fine
-When i installed today on PC Battlefield 6

- Which platform(s) do you own the base game on: I have the base game on Xbox
- Which platform did you register REDSEC on: Xbox
- Which platform shows the “Account Restricted” message: EA APP when trying to play redsec on PC
- Whether the other platform still works normally: YES
- Roughly when you first saw the issue: As soon as I downloaded the PC version and tried to play for the first time.

that's good for you in the case of being able to play on console but I plan to sell my consoles and go straight PC. I'm really frustrated with this problem.

I'm having the same issue. I bought the Phantom Edition on Xbox Series X. Everything on the console is good. I can play all of Battlefield 6 Plus Redsec and BR modes, all good. I tried to download RedSec on my gaming laptop to play on the go and log in to my account, but it says my account is restricted. After weeks and weeks, I got connected to a live agent with EA Help, and he said this is a known problem, and he has no information at this time. I just have to wait it out until they resolve this issue. As long as I can still play on my console, I'm happy. But sucks I can't play BF6 Redsec on the go... We'll have to wait and see what happens...

I agree your not alone. I checked my Xbox game pass and I can see all my other games but BF6 doesn't even appear. I downloaded from steam and still can't play.

nope I haven't had a thing back from anyone but it looks like the community manager is on it. Thanks for your help EA_Aljo as I'm pretty sure you can understand why everyone is getting so frustrated.
I game test for loads of companies and not once would I dream of breaking an NDA I value my position.
I thought I had done something wrong
