BattleField 6 connecting me to wrong data center making the game unplayable

In game when I play the campaign I get 60fps and no rubber banding / latency issues which shows my hardware is fine. When I join an EA server for a game mode such as conquest or rush I get the latency icon and rubber band all over the map, making the gameplay unplayable. I did some troubleshooting and found that I am connecting to SANTIAGO-COMMON data center instead of somewhere in the West US. When I play community servers I no longer have this issue because I can choose US based servers, unfortunately all the community servers are bot farms so I can't play the game modes I like. I see no option to change the routing to not go all the way to south America. I even attempted to play over a VPN to the nearest VPN server to see if it is my ISP routing that is the issue, and that is not the case, it still connects me to SANTIAGO. Trying to submit a support case to EA is impossible. Anyone find a way to fix this?
