Battlefield 6 connects to Chile servers instead of U.S. East

I am from Bethesda Maryland, USA and I am having the exact same issue. If I play on community servers, I get minimal lag. If I play on official servers, it starts off OK but with 5 minutes becomes unplayable due to high latency.
