Battlefield 6 connects to Chile servers instead of U.S. East

Thanks for taking the time to let us know that the servers are connecting to different locations. We appreciate all the info you posted.

This issue has since been resolved; therefore, we are considering it resolved.

If you run into any issues with servers, network-related problems, or further technical issues connecting to the game, please create a new post or reply to an existing one.

First of all I wanted to say thank you to EA for allowing me the privilege of beta testing their game for only $70. I have had this problem from day 1, and in the beginning it wasn't so bad because I could play on portal but they nerfed the progression on that. Good one, EA. Really appreciate it.

At first I thought it was my pc being unable to handle servers with large population, but on portal I can play on 60+ person servers just fine. On official servers whether it's 15 people or 60 it's like watching a slide show. I press G to throw a grenade, 3 seconds later I throw it and rather than arching from my hand it simply teleports. I walk down an empty hallway and then get killed by a ghost, the kill cam informing me there was someone standing right in front of me the whole time. I guess he was harry potter and he turned himself invisible.

The good news is I can play breakthrough casual, find a good choke point to blindly fire into and kill some bots that way, to earn some unlocks. The friends i play redsec with appreciate it.

Some people have talked about asking for a refund, which I find amusing. When you buy a game from a big AAA studio like EA you know you're not getting a finished product and it's a roll of the dice as to how much of a mess it is.

I don't know if this will have any impact or matter at all, but I recently built my PC just for this game, it's a midrange expense PC, i7-14700kf, GeForce 5060, with 64gigs of ram. I totally feel your pain bro, I am still getting killed by people right next to, or right in front of me, the crazy thing is, it tanks too and it happens a lot. Imagine you got killed by a tank 40 or 50M away and cant see it, except for the orange figure that shows you its location after your killed. Not even sure why I'm still playing. I guess I'm hoping for some great improvement. I will say that BF3 and 4 were quite a bit better, you could always get a chopper or tank, but not in 6, I loved flying in the older games, In BF6 I have not been in a chopper yet, they are almost never available.
Also I notice a huge difference when playing redsec, Gauntlet seems to play ok, but going into Battle Royale, I can almost never get a kill in there. Family members have pretty much quit the game, they played on PS5. One is very good, but says when playing on crossplay, he has the same issues, getting killed so easy, and it sounds like you were one shot. The frustration ran him off, so a game that was gonna be our new family game, is now down to just me playing. The other 2 don't play anymore.
We left COD thinking this was gonna be the new best place to gather for good action. COD got ridiculous with the themes and skins. I will say it play better than BF6, overall very disappointed.
