Same issue. Been playing for 30+ hours and got one or two sessions in after the season 1 update. Suddenly the game wouldn't start. I use steam and when I click play, the splash screen will show for a minute, the go away for another minute, then a black screen will show for a minute before closing and then nothing else. I have tried setting the launch files to run as admin, I have tried making an admin user on my pc, I have uninstalled, reinstalled, moved files between harddrives, verified game files. Nothing has made any difference. I have a 3070ti and the "smoothing" nvidia fix didn't do anything either.
