Hi there,
I appreciate all the effort you’ve already put into troubleshooting the crash on your end.
Could you please confirm whether you’ve also tried all the steps in our Troubleshoot crashing or freezing guide?
I may need a little more information to see whether there are any additional steps that could help you get back into the game, or to provide the studio with more useful information for their investigation.
If you’re willing, could you please share your DxDiag report? Thanks.
Not sure if you're replying to me but I have tried
- reinstalling GPU drivers
- reinstalling chipset drivers
- uninstalling MSI Afterburner
- turning off any and all overclocks on RAM & CPU
- Turned off in game overlays (steam, discord, nvidia, xbox game bar)
- Turned off my antivirus
- Updated my BIOS
- Updated both of my SSD's firmware
- Confirmed no overclock in Ryzen master and the BIOS
- reinstalled game
- Turned off Logitech G Hub
- Turned settings to low/minimum
- Cleared Nvidia cache (gpu)
- Tried Nvidia driver version 596.49
I updated ethernet/wifi drivers from Asus website.
Updated bluetooth drivers
Updated audio drivers
Confirmed Nvme drivers were up to date
Confirmed USB drivers are up to date
Disabled fast startup
Disconnected non-essential USB devices like headset, RGB lighting controller

Thanks for replying. You have already gone well beyond the usual troubleshooting.
Please try the following remaining targeted checks:
- Install all available Windows updates and restart the PC.
- Run a clean-boot test.
- Clean-reinstall the GPU driver with DDU.
- Disable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling and restart.
- Run the following commands from Command Prompt as administrator, restarting afterward:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
sfc /scannow
If none of that clears it, please reproduce the crash once, note the exact time, and then check:
- Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application
- Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System
Thank you for your patience.

Event viewer shows nothing for the application side.
So maybe a hardware issue.. ? But this doesn't make sense because I have a lot of games installed on this SSD and no problems playing those, they are stable.
If I go to EventViewer > System
right before the game crashes, "Reset to device, /Device/RaidPort3, was issued" Then, it shows an error right when game crashes, "The driver detected a controller error on /Device/RaidPort3."- EA_LunardustCat28 days ago

Thank you for the detailed information. Those System events give us a much more specific direction.
The fact that your other games remain stable does not completely rule this out, as different games can place very different read/write workloads on a drive.
Before proceeding, please back up any important files.
You can try the following:
- Disable aggressive PCI Express Link State Power Management
Go to Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings, then set PCI Express > Link State Power Management to Off. For testing, you can also switch to the High Performance or Ultimate Performance power plan. - Run a full health and diagnostic scan on both drives using Samsung Magician, even though the SSD firmware is already up to date.
- Open Command Prompt as administrator and run:
chkdsk C: /scan - Then:
chkdsk A: /scan - If you have another physical internal SSD with enough free space, try moving Battlefield 6 to that SSD and see whether the issue continues.
If the issue still persists, could you also check C:\Windows\Minidump for any .dmp files and upload them?
I’m sorry you’ve already had to go through so much troubleshooting. I’ll do my best to help narrow this down. There’s also a new game update available today, so please make sure you’ve updated to the latest version before testing again.
