Battlefield 6 won’t launch after Season 1 update (Win 11 24H2)

I’m unable to launch Battlefield 6 on my Windows 11 24H2 system. When I try to open the game directly, I get the following error:

“Please launch the game from your distribution platform.”

This issue started only after the Season 1 update, I was able to play the game perfectly before that.

Please advise how to fix this or if there’s a known issue with the latest update.

It reads as if you are launching BF6 directly from the folder. Because when you start it from there, you get the error message.
start BF directly from steam or EA app - where u bought it. By the way, the latest Win11 is Build 25H2.

I run it from the EA App as always, and I have the EA Play Pro subscription, but after the Season 1 update, I’m not able to launch it anymore.
