BF6 Multiplayer modes now all locked???

Bought BF6 pre launch so i could be a day 1 player. Paid $79 rather than $89 cuz i was a game pass member. All worked fine until i canceled my game pass membership. Now all the multiplayer game modes that came with the game are locked? RESDEC works fine.  Battle pass is functioning without issue but multiplayer modes are locked?? Campaign works fine. but when i click on any multiplayer mode it takes me to the Game Pass sign up page??? HELP!!! I've uninstalled/redownloaded/reinstalled multiple times but nothing. What else can i do here? Do i have to pay $9 a month forever to play multiplayer or is there a $10 flat  upgrade so i've paid full price/no discount?
