BF6 PC: Severe Rubber-Banding, Stuttering & Time Nudge Spike
Platform: PC / Steam

Issue
Battlefield 6 multiplayer has developed severe movement stuttering, rubber-banding, and synchronization problems following game updates.
The game ran smoothly in June 2026. Since then, gameplay has become progressively more difficult, with frequent movement hitches while running, strafing, aiming, and reloading.
Sometimes my character suddenly snaps backward or experiences major position corrections. During severe episodes, a small white square with a changing numerical value appears near the upper-left corner.
Network observations
- Normal latency: approximately 40–60 ms
- Latency spikes: approximately 80–100 ms
- Time Nudge fluctuates between 8 and 60 ms
- Packet loss frequently remains at 0%
- Server frame time generally 7–9 ms
- Client frame time generally 5–6 ms
Troubleshooting completed
- Verified all 988 Steam game files successfully
- Tested lower graphics settings and FPS limits
- Disabled NVIDIA Overlay
- Tested without RivaTuner Statistics Server
- Checked CPU/GPU performance and temperatures
- Tested Ethernet and internet connectivity
- Confirmed the issue persists with the router's SQM enabled
Other online multiplayer games on the same PC and connection work normally.
Request
Could EA investigate whether recent updates introduced problems affecting multiplayer synchronization, Time Nudge behavior, or client simulation?
I have before-and-after gameplay recordings, including detailed Network Graph and Event Graph footage. However, I do not wish to post my recordings publicly.
Is there a secure, private method for providing this evidence to the Battlefield technical team?
