BF6 running in slow motion.

Bf6 is running in slowmotion, everything feels slowed down. Running feels like i am running on ice, the character keeps moving when i stop running. Enemies and friendlies stutter. I even tried running it on low and disabling V-Sync. Still the same problem

I am using cabled internet with 911.96 mb/s

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
32 GB ram

DxDiag included.

I can't seem to find the problem. Pls help

  • I have same problem. I found solution on steam community. Try community servers. Not EA servers. The game will star work fine. So its definetly EA server problem and mb they will solve them some day

  • i had the same issue and went through a ton of different steps to diagnose but in the end, i resolved this by enabling XMP on my ram through my bios. you can find a general guide for this by searching how to enable xmp for your motherboard's manufacturer.

other steps I tried before ending up at this solution, in case any of these may be of use to you:

checking ping on various servers (turn on ingame scoreboard ping to check) to confirm it was not an internet issue

noticed CPU usage was a little high so attempted several things to troubleshoot that specifically such as setting graphics to all low, limiting FPS to 30, 60, etc to check if there were any improvements (there were not- indicating it did not have anything to do with CPU use)

turning off E cores on my processor (did nothing)

several "fixes" posted with creating .cfg files and adding lines that are supposed to modify CPU usage (did nothing, the codes provided by these guides do not actually affect the game)

I have the same issue. It's because of a high cpu latency. From 15ms it's too much.
You can monitor your system  in-game in advanced through setting and select "Performance overlay -> simple" At the top right you can see your cpu performance.  It turns yellow when the latency is high.

My cpu reaches sometimes 20ms it's very high (ryzen 5 3600)

  • Apparently it's a known issue on a ryzen processors (keyword for search: Time Nudge ryzen (TN in network status bar in bf 6)) . Specs, network etc. are all ok, there is no issues in latencymon.

What didn't help: using XMP profiles, overclocking, disabling CCX (leaving only 3 cores on a single ccx), using user.cfg in a game dir with correct settings for my setup. (TN jumps all over the place 0-1000, I'm unable to play EA servers)

What helped: Playing on servers from the Server Browser

    I've attached my CPU-Z report.
