[BF6 Start up error] This software cannot be used at the same time as the game.

I keep getting this error on my PC when launching from Steam. This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC. (84): appshopdrv103.sy...

Same problem here.

I fixed it for me by simply renaming that driver located in "c:\Windows\SysWOW64\drivers\AppShopDrv103.sys" to "...\AppShopDrv103.sys_". Use this method at your own risk.

  Haha! Yeah I'm a software developer and know a bit how this stuff works. It might feel wrong to do this but in this case I decided that I don't need the functionality of this driver, which, if my understanding is correct (please someone correct me if I am wrong), is for updating drivers of the mainboard. Since I am happy to do this myself manually I decided that it's not a critical function I need in my system, at least less critical than playing BF6 now! Lol
