BF6 suddenly falsely detects VM

I've been playing daily since launch but now today it won't launch because it's detected a Virtual Machine. But it's not a Virtual Machine, I have no Virtual Machines running.. Has persisted through a pc restart.

Update (things tried): 

• Verifying game files has also failed to fix the issue.
• sfc /scannow
