BF6 suddenly freezing my PC then forcing a restart mid game

Hi recently at the start of season 4 I've been experiencing random freezes when in a middle of a game to the point that my pc just force restarts itself. I've tried everything on my part to figure out how to fix this on my end. the game ran perfectly fine during the previous seasons. 

what happened in detail

• the game freezes
• eventually the sound cuts off
• it remains frozen until it force restarts my entire pc or i have to manually restart it myself by holding the power button

The crashes are very random too but it usually happens mid game. if there's any way to troubleshoot this or any future patch that might resolve this issue it would be really appreciated
