BF6 Timed Out Error Mid-Match (PS5 & PC)

Hello everyone,

I’ve been playing Battlefield 6 on PS5 for a few weeks and keep getting a “timed out” error in online matches. It doesn’t matter what game mode I’m in, and it always happens mid-firefight when I’m actively shooting or getting shot at. It’s not like I’m sitting idle somewhere with a sniper.

At first, I was playing on PS5 over Wi-Fi. When it became unplayable, I switched to my PC, which is hard-wired directly to my router/modem. After a few weeks on PC, the exact same issue started happening again.

I’ve pretty much run out of ideas. I’ve reinstalled the game, made sure all drivers are up to date, and it still happens almost every time I play. For example, last night I played for about three hours and nearly every match ended with this issue. I think I only finished maybe three matches in total without getting kicked for “Inactivity.”

I’ve seen this mentioned a lot here, on the EA forums, and on Steam discussions, but I haven’t seen it listed anywhere as an official bug. How do you actually report this so it gets added to the backlog?

Also, if anyone has found a workaround, please share what worked for you. It would probably help a lot of people, since this seems to be affecting quite a few players.
