I had the same issue, I couldn't play ANY of the betas, and now I cannot load the full release.
Splash screen > black screen > back to desktop with no error message or event viewer logging.
The developers simply do not care. If they did, they would have gotten to the bottom of this during the thousands upon thousands of issues that occurred during the betas.
They have a "release it broken, fix it later" mentality.
I spent hours upon hours trying all these "fixes" Yes, everything they demand to be active is active on this computer.
Not a single game in the past 5 or so years has failed to run on any of my computers. This one is modern and high end.
In the end I refunded. It's the only real course of action.
Not spending £90 on a game I cannot play due to lazy development.
That is the harsh reality of it unfortunately.
Now, queue the "learn to computer" "you're a noob" "get a console" replies from the gullible muppets who think EA give a **bleep** about their "die hard" loyalty 😂
I won't call you a noob, i respect your decision, i am going to give it a week before i refund... i am hoping for a patch but i am losing confidence because of their silence... if this was going on in the beta, it's absolutely ridiculous that the problem still exists. GET IT TOGETHER EA!!!!!
