Camera Feels Jittery or Inconsistent When Panning (Not FPS Related)
I’m having a strange issue that I can’t quite pin down. When I pan the camera, it doesn’t feel smooth anymore — kind of jittery or like it’s running in slight slow motion. It’s subtle but very noticeable and distracting, even though the performance metrics look fine. 1% lows are around 75–80, which should be fine.
- Specs:
- i9-10900K RTX 5070 Ti
- 4K display (165Hz) Game runs around
- 120–140 FPS
The weird part is that technically it’s smooth — FPS stays high and consistent — but it doesn’t feel right. Something seems off with motion consistency or frame pacing.
What I’ve Tried:
- Enabled/disabled V-Sync
- Enabled/disabled Future Frame Rendering
- Reinstalled the game completely
- Tested all DLSS modes (including off)
- Capped FPS at 100 / 90 / 70 (still noticeable)
- Set all settings to Low (no difference)
- Adjusted mouse DPI and polling rate
- Toggled Raw Mouse Input
- Frame Generation On/Off
None of these fixes have helped. It’s not game-breaking, but it’s very annoying once you notice it. Has anyone else experienced this kind of microstutter or inconsistent camera motion despite stable FPS? It’s worth noting this does not happen in any other game — all my other titles are buttery smooth.
