Changing EA Sports ID linkage with Steam for Battlefield 6

The Steam ID linked to my EA Sports account was hacked, so I unlinked it. However, when I tried to link a different Steam ID, it says re-linking is not possible — and I honestly can’t understand why....

I been grinding so hard on battlefield 6 just for me to get the same issue and I lost my EA account like 10+ years ago and now I can’t play it no more… im going to need to be compensated or somebody is getting sued
