THIS IS SOOO FRUSTRATING!!!
Ive had this issue for only a few days, 1 day it was fine, the next it just will not connect. All my other games work including BF2042, this is what ive done:
Re-Verified the file integrity on steam
Unplugged USB devices
updated nvidia graphis drivers
reset my login to the EA app and cleared the EA app cache
I run kaspersky, ive checked and the firewall is all green for all of EA/Steam connections - ive even dissabled Kasperksy completely
My account is already linked to steam so i cant do anything there
multiple restarts - PC and router
Swapped from Wifi to Ethernet - doesnt fix it
changed the DNS settings as instructed
Interestingly Im also running AM5 (9800X3D, 32Gb DDR5 Corsair vengueance, RTX 5080 4TB steam drive, 2Tb 'C' drive). However i fail to understand how this could be an issue.
Does anyone - EA, maybe? have an idea of how to fix this

Hi, sorry to hear you’re running into this, and thanks for the effort you’ve already put into troubleshooting.
If you’re willing, could you also try uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app?
Some players on the Steam discussion board have also shared workarounds that may help.
A few things that have worked for others include:
- Signing out and back into your Steam account
- Resetting your network (Step 13)
- Making sure no other games’ anti-cheat programs are running in the background

Thanks for your reply, but none of that works. If you read the Steam discussion board, the overidding solution is for EA to mess around with the EA account and fix it that way. One of the contributors couldnt seem to get the person they were speaking to at EA to understand thats what needs to happen. Please can you look into this, its a known issue and needs to be addressed by EA,
Also, someone said that AIO coolers with LCD screens could be a culprit? The USB issue needs to be addressed as that cannot happen in a game.....

Thanks for your patience. As Rtas and Shepard mentioned, we have made the team aware. That said, as the Steam thread also shows, most players have ultimately found a workaround that helped them on their end.
You could also try using Cloudflare WARP and see whether that helps in your case.
