Crossplay Off Matchmaking Might Be Broken (UK)

Haven’t played in a few weeks, no issues before (UK) with crossplay off on my PS5.

Rarely ever seen bots, if not at all. Lobbies used to fill fast with zero issues.

Now every single match of conquest is bot filled to 48 players with a handful of actual players.

It’s like the matchmaking is creating hundreds of different matches with a handful of people, filling them with bots and then leaving them instead of waiting and placing players together.

I believe this because I’ve tested joining and quitting. I go into a match filled with bots I quit, queue again and after 2-3 seconds I’m placed into a new match filled with bots and there are countless different matches going on. I did this around 30 times, every single match was different but yet filled with majority bots.

I don’t get it, I purchased my PS5 Pro on release date so around November last year and I downloaded Battlefield 2042 (crossplay off)

Zero issues with that game throughout its life cycle, always had full conquest matches (64) and that game was meant to be dead, BF6 with crossplay off feels infinitely worse already.

The matchmaking is bugged or needs major changes like persistent lobbies or the removal of bots.

What I believe is happening due to lobbies disbanding after every game (god why did you still go through with this DICE 😂) players are broken up, placed into new lobbies, said lobbies are filled with bots and then there aren’t enough players to fill all the different bot lobbies.
