Based on available data, Battlefield 6 participation is down 90% from the peak. And I see little being done about the glitches, gremlins and flaws.
Has EA just given up, and decided to let it atrophy . . ?

To answer both questions, certainly not. There has been constant work done to address issues and feedback that's been brought up, though if a particular issue affecting you has been ongoing, it's understandable if you've not seen much change.
Are there more things to address? Absolutely.
Do feel free to keep an eye out on the BF6 Info Hub as this contains patch notes and blogs so you can see what's been addressed and where things are headed in the future. We've had numerous updates this month alone, so this is a solid place to take a look and see what is being done - even if we haven't gotten to everything just yet. Thanks!
