Cursor Becomes Unresponsive on Spawn/Vehicle Selection Screen
🧾 Subject: Cursor Becomes Unresponsive on Spawn/Vehicle Selection Screen (Cannot Select or Spawn)
Platform: PC (Windows 10/11)
Input Device: Xbox Controller
Game Version: Battlefield 6 (latest update, November 2025)
Reproducibility: Frequent / Intermittent
---
Issue Summary:
While on the spawn/overview map screen in a multiplayer match, the cursor occasionally becomes completely unresponsive. I can still move the camera view of the map, but I can no longer highlight, select, or move the cursor over any vehicle or spawn point. The game does not register input for selecting spawn locations or vehicles, making it impossible to spawn into the match until I restart or ALT + F4.
---
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Join any multiplayer match (tested on Conquest mode).
2. At the map/overview screen, where you choose soldier or vehicle spawn points, move the cursor around to highlight spawn points or vehicle icons.
3. After several movements or menu interactions (sometimes after opening the settings once), the cursor suddenly stops selecting objects.
4. Attempting to click or move to a spawn point does nothing — you cannot spawn, and must force-close or wait for the match to end.
---
Expected Result:
The cursor should always remain responsive and allow selection of spawn points or vehicles during the match.
Actual Result:
The cursor becomes stuck or inactive — it moves visually but cannot select or interact with any spawn points or vehicles. Player is unable to spawn at all.
---
Additional Notes:
Occurred multiple times in Conquest mode on various maps.
Seems to happen after opening the pause/options menu from the map screen or shortly after switching to vehicle selection.
Tested after full system restore and default settings — issue persists.
No external overlays or third-party injectors active.
