Dear Battlefield 6 developers and EA,

I am making this post publicly because after multiple appeals, weeks of waiting, screenshots, explanations and repeated requests for clarification, I still have not received a meaningful answer to one very simple question.

Here is my story.

After taking a break from Battlefield 6 for approximately a month, I returned to the game after spending some time playing Warzone.

I started playing Battlefield 6 again on my BRAND-NEW PC, purchased new, not second-hand.

I had also PURCHASED THE GAME WITH MY OWN MONEY.

After only:

3 HOURS AND 41 MINUTES

I received a PERMANENT BAN for “GAMEPLAY ENHANCEMENT.”

I was genuinely shocked.

I knew I had been playing legitimately, so naturally I submitted an appeal and tried to understand what exactly had happened.

I explained my situation and provided information and screenshots.

What did I receive?

A generic response telling me that the ban was related to “gameplay enhancement.”

But that did not answer my question.

What exactly did I supposedly do?

I appealed again.

This time, I waited approximately one month minus three days for the review.

After almost an entire month of waiting, I received essentially the same response again.

Same explanation.

Same “gameplay enhancement” terminology.

No meaningful explanation of what supposedly happened during those 3 hours and 41 minutes.

So I asked again:

What did you actually detect?

I am not asking EA to publish its anti-cheat technology, detection methods or confidential information.

I am asking for a meaningful explanation for why a legitimate player who had barely returned to the game received a permanent cheating-related sanction after 3 hours and 41 minutes.

Instead, I continued receiving essentially the same type of response.

At one point I submitted another appeal and received another response approximately an hour later.

Again: gameplay enhancement.

Again: no meaningful explanation of what supposedly happened.

Please put yourself in my position.

You purchase a game.

You return after taking a break.

You play casually.

You spend much of your time playing casual modes, including matches involving bots because you simply want to relax and level weapons.

Then, after only 3 hours and 41 minutes:

PERMANENT BAN.

You appeal.

You ask why.

You wait weeks.

And the answer you receive still does not explain the specific situation.

I then tried playing again using another account because I wanted to understand whether this would happen again.

This time, the account lasted approximately:

30 MINUTES.

And those 30 minutes do not even represent 30 minutes of serious gameplay.

Approximately 10 minutes were spent configuring my in-game settings.

I played very little.

I was also AFK for part of the session because I went to eat.

When I returned to my PC:

BANNED.

Again.

“Gameplay enhancement.”

How?

What gameplay was supposedly being “enhanced” while I was configuring settings or sitting AFK?

But now we arrive at the most important part of this entire situation.

I decided to play Battlefield 6 through GeForce NOW.

And today I have proof showing:

121 HOURS AND 28 MINUTES PLAYED THROUGH GEFORCE NOW.

Let me repeat that:

121 HOURS AND 28 MINUTES.

And during those 121+ hours, I have not received the same permanent cheating ban.

I play the same Battlefield.

I am the same person.

I use the same playstyle.

My behavior does not magically change because the game is running on a GeForce NOW machine instead of my local PC.

So Battlefield and EA, I am asking you publicly:

HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS?

GeForce NOW:

121 hours and 28 minutes → no permanent cheating ban.

My local PC:

3 hours 41 minutes → permanent ban.

Another local session:

approximately 30 minutes → permanent ban.

At this point, how am I supposed to interpret this other than believing that something related to my local PC, hardware identification, or device environment is being flagged by your system?

If my actual gameplay were the problem, why can I play for more than 121 HOURS through GeForce NOW without receiving the same punishment?

This is the question I have been trying to get answered.

Instead, I repeatedly receive generic enforcement responses.

I am tired of asking a very specific question and receiving an explanation of what “cheating” or “gameplay enhancement” means.

I KNOW WHAT CHEATING MEANS.

What I want to know is why your system repeatedly permanently bans me specifically when I play from my local PC while allowing me to play for more than 121 hours through GeForce NOW.

Please explain that contradiction.

And please understand why this situation is so frustrating.

I have spent money on your game.

I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to understand what is happening.

I have submitted multiple appeals.

I waited almost an entire month for one review.

I have provided evidence.

I have asked direct questions.

And even today, after presenting proof of 121 hours and 28 minutes on GeForce NOW, I received another generic response.

At what point does somebody actually investigate the specific circumstances instead of repeating the same template?

I am not asking for special treatment.

I am asking for an actual explanation.

So I will ask again, publicly:

IS MY LOCAL PC / HARDWARE / HWID BEING FLAGGED?

If the answer is YES, then please be honest about it.

If the answer is NO, then please explain how the following can repeatedly happen:

GeForce NOW → 121+ HOURS → NO PERMANENT CHEATING BAN

LOCAL PC → 3H41 → PERMANENT BAN

LOCAL PC → APPROX. 30 MINUTES → PERMANENT BAN

How does that make sense?

I will attach my screenshot showing the 121 hours and 28 minutes played through GeForce NOW.

I would genuinely appreciate an answer from somebody at Battlefield or EA who actually addresses the evidence and the question being asked.

Not another definition of cheating.

Not another generic template.

Not another copy-paste response.

An actual answer.

I paid for your game.

I played legitimately.

I have been trying for weeks to understand what is happening.

The way this situation has been handled has been extremely disappointing and, from my perspective as a paying customer, shameful.

So please:

Look at the evidence.

Look at the difference between GeForce NOW and my local PC.

And explain it.

Just give up, that's just how EA is. I ran into something similar — except in my case I randomly found that logging into a new account on PC would get it banned, while my old account that I'd been playing on the whole time never got touched. I found other people on the forums with the exact same situation, and same deal — EA gave zero explanation.

Also, an account I refunded last year after playing for just one day got banned four months later, with no email notification, just a silent ban. I suspect they just do it to pad their numbers.🤑

But whenever you report a false ban on the forums or anywhere else, there's always some guy treating anti-cheat like it's Jesus, saying you must have cheated😇. This game has had all kinds of random bans since launch — in the eyes of any normal person, their credibility is basically nonexistent.

Today I was just on the forums and heard Javelin is getting shoved into APEX. Honestly, I doubt this half-baked anti-cheat will do anything but kill APEX.

Real talk, I'm not dropping another cent on EA. My old account could get banned out of nowhere any day anyway.

Dude, if your response to someone explaining a genuine problem is “Good job, EA. Keep banning the cheaters,” then I honestly think you’ve spent way too much time dealing with “hackers” in your life, if you know what I mean.
Not everyone who has a problem with a game is automatically a cheater. That kind of black-and-white thinking is exactly the problem.
I explained what happened to me, I explained the differences between playing locally and on GeForce NOW, and I never said the forum could overturn my ban. I was sharing the situation and asking if anyone had experienced something similar.
But apparently, dude, the moment EA says “cheating,” you stop thinking completely and just repeat whatever they say as if it must automatically be true.
So yes, maybe before calling random people cheaters without knowing anything about their case, you should consider the possibility that not every enforcement is perfect and not every technical issue means someone was hacking.
Right now you don’t sound informed — you just sound completely brainwashed by EA.

Dude, this is a forum. Nobody here has access to your anti-cheat data, and no moderator here can overturn an EA enforcement. If you genuinely believe it was a false positive, appeal it through EA instead of writing a 20-paragraph investigation based on the fact that GeForce NOW didn't ban you.

Good job, EA. Keep banning the cheaters. 👍
