Update on this as I have not seen this fix here after looking a little:
I had crashes all the time, during every session, all from 5 minutes in the game to 3-5 hours in the game. i tried alot of stuff but nothing worked.
I traced the dumps from the pc and gpu and it seems to be related to FSR in AMD or any AMD enabled functions under DX12 in frostbite. tried turning off all AMD functions, but it still crashed, traced it back to FSR and dx12 even though FSR was disabled.
After doing the fix below I have yet to encounter a crash.
I encountered one crash, but that was me forgetting I changed it back to DX12 to try turning off all AMD features and forgetting I had done that. Changed it back to DX11 and again, yet to crash.
The problem: DX12
The solution: DX11
open notepad and save this into the battlefield root folder (for steam this looks like this: ...steamapps\common\Battlefield 6):
GstRender.Dx12Enabled 0
GstRender.Dx11Enabled 1

Appreciate the fix, but I didn't pay £60 for a game to have to play it using technology from 2009. DICE need to fix this or I, and others I suspect, will just be asking for refunds....

This appears to have resolved the issue for me, although I can't be fully sure until I've gone at least 10 hours without a crash. Thanks for the tip.
Everyone should try this to see if it works. I haven't noticed any degraded performance or missing features after switching to DX11, although I've had all AMD features off for a while so I don't know if those still work.

NOPE, DX11 put a BBC in my mouth. Somebody removed my GPU again, so for me DX11 mode no fix.

Nope works for 1 out of 100 people. we tried this already while Beta, doesnt change anything for 99% of us
