EA Account Link in Error

About a week ago, I logged into Battlefield 6 on my PS5. I've been playing since launched and have really enjoyed the game, and its my first BF sinc BF1, and has become my main way to relax and have fun.

Recently, I created a new EA Connect account and attempted to link my in-game profile. During the process, I received a message stating my PSN was already attached to another account so I checked further. I discovered it was linked to an older account from 2009, tied to an email address i no longer have access too.

Believing it would be a straightforward fix, i moved my profile to the new EA Account. However, once the transfer was completed, my account was completely reset.

My solider level returned to 1, lost all my unlocks, skins, BF Pro items, coins, progression, you name it. I have invested nearly 400hrs into the game and this has been extremely discouraging. I have reached out to customer support, but so far its been more automated support than actual support.

Is there anyway to restore my original progression or have my PSN account re-linked back to the correct EA account? I own and can access both. If someone from DICE or EA Team sees this and can help, that would be greatly appreciated.

I really dont want to restart over or miss out on ongoing events.

    Hello Ummmmmmmmmmmyes,

You can relink your PSN to the original EA Account in the EA customer portal. If that's currently not possible and it says that you have to wait six months, please contact EA Support and explain your situation there. It's not a guarantee that they can help with this issue, but they can potentially unlink the PSN account and let you link it back to the original EA account.
