    Hi DavidHolberry

When I go on to connected accounts the PlayStation account isn’t linked

Ok, this is a key piece of the puzzle. If you're not seeing your PSN listed under the connected accounts on the EA account you're logged into in the EA account settings, it usually means you're not logged into/checking the right EA account.

This suggests there are two EA accounts in the mix.

    1. The older EA account: This is the one registered to the older email that your PSN, and all your EA games' PSN data is tied to.
    2. The new EA account: This is the one you mentioned setting up a year ago that uses the newer email, but doesn't have the PSN linked.

At this stage, I wouldn't advise unlinking if you can recover the OG account and update the email. Unlinking carries risks (like losing access to your game saves, progress, and purchases), so if we can avoid that at all, that'd be best. Instead, I'd recommend you reach out to our support team directly. They'll do their best to help you recover the OG account and update the email registered to it.

Hey DavidHolberry, it's been a bit since this discussion was last active. I hope that means you were able to connect with our support team and recover the OG account. I'll close this here as a result. Thanks and happy gaming. o/

  • Dude I finally figured it out and I’m trying to respond to everyone that’s having this problem because I was ready to delete my saved data and start over. I went to EA .com and hit forgot password and after it should say email or EA ID, I’d say if you don’t know your EA id off the top of your head get a buddy or another account to see what you named yourself on battlefield and after you put your EA ID in it should say change email on recognized device and mine was my ps5. Make sure bf6 is already closed on whatever console. Open bf6 back up and it should tell you to now change your email on your console and not send a verification code to an old **bleep** email address. I suggest adding your number as well to your account to make sure you can always back it up. I hope it works for you guys like it did for me, add me on bf6 if it works

  • good luck getting any actual help. I have all my information up to date and don't even receive the verification codes email. I've submitted several cases to EA... I had to make a new account that I can't even link to my Ps5 username. I think we should all take it to the Better Business Bureau or social media.

  • Hi it’s been a year since I updated my email address on EA account and the PlayStation network so EA have emailed an old email address that doesn’t exist on my EA account.

    i can’t imagine why exactly 🤷🏻‍♂️

When I go on to connected accounts the PlayStation account isn’t linked and it won’t let me link it as it says: Your accounts can’t be linked because your PlayStation™Network account dholberry already linked to your EA Account for dh*****@yahoo.co.uk. An EA Account can only be linked to one PlayStation™Network account in its lifetime.
