What do I do my email address is updated with my new one on the account and it won’t let me like my PlayStation account to it as it says only one per lifetime

Ok, this is a key piece of the puzzle. If you're not seeing your PSN listed under the connected accounts on the EA account you're logged into in the EA account settings, it usually means you're not logged into/checking the right EA account.
This suggests there are two EA accounts in the mix.
- The older EA account: This is the one registered to the older email that your PSN, and all your EA games' PSN data is tied to.
- The new EA account: This is the one you mentioned setting up a year ago that uses the newer email, but doesn't have the PSN linked.
At this stage, I wouldn't advise unlinking if you can recover the OG account and update the email. Unlinking carries risks (like losing access to your game saves, progress, and purchases), so if we can avoid that at all, that'd be best. Instead, I'd recommend you reach out to our support team directly. They'll do their best to help you recover the OG account and update the email registered to it.
