I was going to make a new EA account to simply start over and link my Twitch would get me the Twitch drops, but then the hours I slaved away at the Battlefield 2042 battle pass to get all the rewards will not carry over and it will have all been for nothing, same with the hours upon hours I spent doing the BF6 Beta challenges. I will never be able to merge this progress because of this ridiculous EA policy. It just doesn't make sense. Other companies allow you to update your linked accounts because they actually understand the player and what can happen to accounts over time. It seems EA does not. If I want to continue with my original EA account will my over a decade worth of progress (2014), I will never ever be allowed to earn Twitch drops, not just for BF6, but for any EA game ever. Make it make sense.
