Error Code “1:86001S:9C:-1356 1655840” on Xbox — Can’t Connect to EA Servers

Hi everyone,

I’m currently having trouble connecting to Battlefield (on Xbox) and keep getting the following error code:

1:86001S:9C:-1356 1655840

I’ve already tried several things:

• Restarted my console and router
• Switched between Wi-Fi and LAN
• Set DNS manually (Google DNS 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4)
• Signed out and back into my Xbox and EA accounts
• Cleared cache and checked for updates

Unfortunately, the problem still appears every time I try to log in.

I couldn’t find any official EA article mentioning this exact error code — only similar ones related to connection or authentication problems.

Has anyone else experienced this issue on Xbox or found a reliable fix?
