Error Code 0:85009S

Battlefield 6 Technical Support Team,

I recently did a fresh reinstall of Windows 11 Pro, and ever since then, I cannot stay in a match for more than a few minutes before getting kicked. Prior to the reinstall, I had no issues.

Here is the list of troubleshooting steps I have already gone through, none of which solved the issue:
Note: I'm using a hard wired Ethernet NIC and I have a 1 Gbps internet connection and it's been verified.

1) Tried many DNS services: AT&T, Google (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4), and Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1)
2) IPv6 - Disabled
3) Uninstalled and reinstalled BF6 and drivers via a clean install of Windows 11 Pro
4) Reset my AT&T router
5) Verified the game files and cache
6) Repaired, and also reinstalled, the EA Anti-Cheat
7) Tried 2 different Ethernet NICs and even a wireless adapter
8) No background apps are running like RGB controllers (iCue, Armoury Crate) or hardware monitors (MSI Afterburner), etc.
9) No VPN's or overlays running like GeForce Experience
10) Cleared the EA App Cache

Nothing has worked and I'm out of ideas and just want to play the game.
Help me EA Technical Support, you are my only hope.
Thank you in advance.

  • Question 1: Is constantly getting kicked 5 minutes after a game started an anti-cheat (Javelin) issue?  There only error is 0:85009S and nothing points to anti-cheat software.  It's also happens on my mobile Wi-Fi hotspot using cellular connection so it's not a local network issue (router, etc).

Question 2: Are there any BF6 or AC log files that would give more information as to the issue and why it's happening?  That error 0:85009S is so generic and not helpful.
