    ERROR CODE 0:89001S:2C:-13561655840

Received this error code and eventually got a 6 step process on how to fix it through customer support only to receive the same error code the next day. The process involved unlinking and relinking steam to EA but do that once and youre locked out of doing it again for 6 months +

From what can be gathered from multiple different support chats this is the only solution to fix this error code, but I am now locked from fixing their error codes for them and EA refuses to unlock it through their channels. Absolutely horrendous, boycott EA and raise the pirate flag regarding all EA products.

I'm getting Error Code  0:89001S:2C:-13561655840  Online EA servers are good, game is updated, multi player test connect is great, quick resume is turned off and l did a fresh restart with this same error code coming up. The NAT is open aswell. Any suggestions on a solution?

Cannot load into game after update. All files validated, ea app updated and linked to steam yet each time i try to connect to online services i get the same error code which is 0:89001S:7C which I've heard was a license issue...after i have 200 hours on the game. EA support just said to wait.

Hey there. Thanks for reaching out. You mention this being a new house. Did this start happening right after moving? Also, are you using the same network equipment (modem/router) that you had previously?

I'd like you to check your NAT. You can see this in the network settings on your console. It should be Type 2 or Type 1.

Which DNS did you try? I would suggest the following if you haven't tried this.

    • Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1
    • Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.1

    Google DNS:

    • 8.8.8.8
    • 8.8.4.4

Is crossplay on? If not, try turning it on and see if that makes a difference.

As a test, can you switch your connection to a mobile hotspot? This helps narrow down what's causing this. Let me know if you can connect then.

I was able to make it through 2 games on hotspot without being kicked. I tried wifi connection and made it through one game but then was kicked post game

I'm not surprised you were kicked being on wireless. But, if the issue were with Starlink, I would think you'd have the same issue being wired. So, it seems that the wired connection is the problem. Do you have another ethernet cable you can try? Also, let's make sure a proper power cycle is done with these steps:

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again

Let me know what happens. Thanks!

Tried new cable and same results. 20 min power cycle of ps5 and router. Disconnected with 21ms latency on casual breakthrough. Then in 1-3 mins connected back in menu.

Since the connection troubleshooting steps aren't helping, I recommend contacting your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues. Unfortunately, I'm about to head out for the weekend. I won't be back until Tuesday. We could pick this up then. I'm not aware of any issues with our servers that would cause this and since you're not disconnecting over a mobile hotspot, it seems the issue is with your network equipment/ISP.

No issues or change with ISP. This began with season 3. I tried using another router and same results. I tried using the hotspot and was disconnected today.

A hotspot is not a good connection. It was just suggested as a test. It sounds like you're more successful on it though. Which points to the issue being with your ISP or equipment. Unfortunately, I don't have anything else to suggest.
