BF6 on Steam can't launch. Opens black screen then crashes

There are many other threads from other with similar solutions. Unfortunately each seems to have a different solution so there isn't a silver bullet here.

I have still not found a solution but I'm leaving links in case they help anyone

    • drives were BitLocker-encrpyted and part of  data drives were BitLocker-encrypted and one was part of a degraded Storage Pool. EA AntiCheat could not initialise properly because of how Windows mounts protected or virtualised volumes.

    • right click game on steam->prop->DLC-> uncheck multiplayer HD marker and Multiplayer marker. This should clear a "game not released" 512MB in your download section of steam even though you can launch the game from lib. Now right click game->prop->installed files->  validate filesSteam then downloaded 8 files for me and it launches now!
    • use a different microsoft account w/same steam account
