UPDATE: This seemed to be a router issue for me. I swapped my router out and have not have this issue ONCE since.
What do you mean you swapped your router out? like you bought a whole new one??

I had an extra old one and plugged it in and made it the "primary router" that I used for my wired connection to my PC. Then I also reconnected the original router to be fed off of the new one. I played for hours and never got this error once. The misbehaving router is a Linksys AX5400. I hope this helps any of you guys who are also living this same hell that I was in.

Replacing my AX5400 has worked for me as well, I was previously unable to finish matches without getting disconnected before & since replacing that router I haven't had a single issue over the past week playing for hours at a time. Thank you so much for this, it's been great being able to actually play again.
