Thanks for providing the crash dump, and I’m sorry to hear about the freezing issue.
I’ve also noticed similar reports on Steam, but since PC specs, settings, and installed software can vary so much from system to system, these cases can be difficult to compare directly.
I’ve passed your crash dump along to the team, and we’re also gathering additional reports to support them in taking a look.
If you’re able to find a crash dump, we’d appreciate it if you could share it with us.
- Files from C:\Users\[your name]\Documents\Battlefield 6\CrashDumps
We’ve also made the studio aware that a number of players don’t appear to have any crash dump generated.
bltzmann & GTS - Orion (on Steam) have shared workarounds that worked for them. Although other players have unfortunately reported that these did not work in their cases, until we have any further updates, they may still be worth a try if you’re willing, in the hope of helping more players get back to the Battlefield.
1. Bought game from Epic playing from EA App. For Steam gamers check your installation folder.
- For me game directory "D:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 6"
- There are bf6.exe and EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe in game folder.
- I have set both of them "Run As Administrator" via Right Click/Compatibility menu and
- finally completed a 28 min. conquest match without computer freezing.

2. Updated the BIOS from AGESA 1.2.7.1 to AGESA 1.3.0.0a (9850X3D - RTX4080 - FURY Beast RGB 2 x 16 Go 6000Mt CL30 - MB Asrock X870 -Mouse Logitech)
Please be careful when making changes in the BIOS, as incorrect changes could potentially break your PC.
