At this point the lack of acknowledgment is more of a problem than anything else. This thread has been up for 20 DAYS, has seen lots of activity, and we've made multiple efforts to get CMs or any type of support to acknowledge the issue (at a bare minimum) and we have been outright ignored. All I've gotten from EA out of this is a $70 loss, a denied refund request, and a permanent Discord ban for hurting their feelings by calling out the quality of the product that this situation could even happen.
I get that this may be a difficult problem and there are, frankly, many other issues with the game that also require attention, but it is outright nonsense to act like they don't have the capacity to at least say "Hey we're aware of the issue and are working to resolve it". There is simply no excuse for how EA has navigated this.
I'm not wiping my machine as a workaround for this issue when 1. That is simply not a fix and 2. EA has so far not acknowledged the issue, much less tried to find other options when they certainly exist.
At this point there is too much of a sour taste to this game for me to even want to go near it. EA needs to address it and allow people to get their refunds.
