Sad to say, but I am giving up. 

I can’t believe they haven’t fixed this yet! Three service tickets and no response for weeks. 

Nope still nothing. This lack of support to get this corrected is crazy.

This might be far from ideal for others, but to fix it for my son, I got in touch with EA Support Live chat and got them to unlick his Xbox gametag from the broken child EA account. We then created a new clean EA account and linked this to his Xbox account.

Be warned though, this will reset the account back to Level 1. For us though, it allowed us to do something else I'd struggled to do which was linking his EA account to Steam so he can carry on  with his progression on the ROG Xbox Ally he is getting for Christmas. So he is taking the hit with resetting to level 1 now, rather than at Christmas really.

I am unable to play BF6 with my Dad because of this issue, we played together before the update but it hasn't worked since

We've bitten the bullet and got EA support live chat to unlink my sons anonymous.ea.com EA account from his Xbox Gametag. We then created a proper EA account and linked this back to his Xbox Gametag.

Yes, he goes back to level 1, but before this I was having trouble linking the child EA (anonymous.ea.com) account to Steam anyway as he's getting a ROG Ally Xbox for Christmas so will be moving to the PC version of the game then. So taking the hit now allows him to build his levels back up on the Xbox before Christmas, than carry that progress forward on the ROG handheld. This made it an easier decision for us to unlink the broken EA account now really.

I don't think this is the same issue? Error code is diffrent.

3 weeks and its still happening to players like myself, has anyone had theirs fixed yet?
