I keep getting this error message when I try to open the game “this software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it’s not running, or restart your pc. DiscSoftLTD (Daemon Tools). I restarted my computer did a graphics card update and a computer one too, I’ve also tuned off all daemon or discsoft on my talk manager and still nothing can someone help please!?
Hi, I had this problem too, for a while, I disabled the drivers that Daemon Tools installs and for some time it worked. Then recently, I started to have that message even with drivers disabled, so I uninstalled it.
For clarification, Daemon Tools is a software with a set of tools for emulating and working with optical drives (CD and DVD ROMs).
I would like to be able to reinstall this software that I eventually need and play the game, can the technical team look at this please?

I had the same issue. Javelin required me to completely remove Daemon Tools from my PC for it to work (start menu -> add/remove programs).
While I am glad EA are finally taking cheating seriously, daemon tools is going to be found on a load of machines that are not cheating.
I use it loads and its a pain to have to entirely uninstall it to play BF1.
also i dont have a option for daemon tools so its stuck and im asking chatGPT
Well, depending on your needs, PowerISO or Alcohol may be viable, but they don't have all the features Daemon Tools have.
