Error when starting the game.

Getting the following error at startup - then crashes back to desktop:

directx function getdeviceremovedreason failed with dxgi_error_device_reset ("the device failed due to a badly formed command. this is a run time issue; the application should destroy and recreate the device."). gpu: "nvidia geforce gtx 1080 ti". driver: 58150. this error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers. battlefield 6

I've updated drivers, uninstalled the game, tried different versions of DirectX, uninstalled Windows Updates.   This started after the latest game update.  I have Windows 10 on PC.  Appreciate any help.

  • KROK74 open Nvidia Control Panel, open Help Menu, and click on Debug Mode.

This runs the video card at stock speed.

If that doesn't work then disable EXPO/XMP memory overclocking in motherboard BIOS settings.
