[FIXED] Error 0:85008S/0:66003S – Solution Found (netsh winsock reset)
Body:
Hi everyone,
I want to share a fix that finally resolved the Error 0:85008S for me in Battlefield 6.
The Problem:
The error appeared every time I launched the game. Restarting my router would let me play one match, but after exiting, the error came right back. I tried many common fixes (DNS changes, firewall settings, VPNs, game verification, EA Anti-Cheat reinstall, etc.), but none worked.
The Solution:
Running the following command as Administrator completely fixed it:
netsh winsock reset
Steps:
- Press Win + X and select Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin).
- Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
- Restart your computer.
- Launch Battlefield 6 – the error should be gone.
I hope this helps anyone else facing the same issue. Good luck!
btw, I also met this error:
An unexpected game shutdown was detected. Please relaunch the game or contact EA Help if this continues. (0xC0000005)
in bf1, this error also has been solved while using netsh winsock reset, if any of you has met the same error can try this to fix.
