Framegen must be turned on otherwise graphics look atrocious

I have Nvidia GPU

Without framegen, quality of textures, effects, elegance of applied sharpening, EVERYTHING looks awful despite having 300fps+ on a 144hz monitor

After enabling framegen, graphics magically become way better
